Daskot Village is 7kms from Palvlikeni and 35km from Veliko Turnovo and 180km from Sofia.  Daskot is in the Municipality of Pavlikeni.

Daskot is a wonderful village full of people who are generous. I have found that Daskot has open arms that are embracing and charming from the residents. Sometimes its like stepping back in time. People bring over fresh milk, fresh yogurt, fresh meat and fresh vegies. They come over like good neibors to help us expats with our new homes and gardens with ideas and ways that are traditional in the village.
Not many places you find like this anymore.
In the morning the traffic is horrible in front of my villa and many other Expat villas. Sheep going one direction, cows going another direction. In front of my villa 60 turkeys gobble gobble down the street.
What does Daskot have in the village?
We have 3 small grocery stores and 2 bars, a library which is soon to be renovated, a meeting hall/dance hall. There is a hardware store, a postoffice with a Post Bank inside. A bus stop at the top of hill for buses to Veliko Turnovo or to Pallikeni town/train Station. Also a doctors office in the village and a city hall office.

There is 300 proper seat theater that needs renovation with full stage and back up stage.
We have a grade school and a very large Church that also needs renovation.
We have a very big agricultrual cooperative in the village that works the lands all around the village.  

Daskot has a international group of people living in the village.  Americans, Bulgarians, Dutch, English, Germans, Irianans, Welsh, Romi, Turkish.

We have 24 hr security in the village that was organized by the Co-Op company
